Nate has been working in supervisory and managerial roles since the age of 19; In his time in the private sector he has worked for both Retail and Fast Food Service businesses. He is familiar with the business realities of large and small businesses alike, their needs, expectations and headwinds. He will work in Richmond to continue to remove barriers to abundance and prosperity, by creating the economic conditions and environment that a Free Market requires.
Government And Political Organizations
Nate has been involved in the Manassas communities' political system since the age of 17 when he founded a Teenage Republicans Club at Osbourn High School in 2011. At the same time as Chairing the High School TARS club, he served as Student Council Representative to Manassas Cities' School Board. He continued his political activism into college and founded a College Republicans Club at the Northern Virginia Community College Manassas Campus, where he was appointed to serve as the College Republican Representative for the 10th District Executive Board. Nate understands that progress is made through the ballot box and will preserve the rights of Citizens to engage freely with their government.
Nate Believes
That free minds and free markets are the hallmarks of an abundant and thriving civil society. That communities that develop around a human centric model are those most financially resilient and desirable places to live. That a dollar is better held and spent by the members of the community, rather than in the coffers of the government bureaucracy. That the branches of government ought to balance one another out. That the right to work is non-negotiable and government mandates and excessive taxation are killing jobs. That the vision of The Commonwealth and Country, as set by our Founding Fathers, requires a Republican form of Government in order to preserve Life, Liberty and Property. That OUR LAND is sacred and belongs in common to all the people of the Commonwealth and ought to be conserved to in order to protect the pristine wilderness and green spaces that make our State unique.

1 / Transportation And Traffic
Road traffic, especially during commuter hours, continues to be an ongoing concern in the District. I believe in multi-modal transportation projects, utilizing our diverse network of transportation options to reduce traffic and the costs associated with our daily commutes to work. We should continue to invest in projects to expand services where the infrastructure currently exists. Nate advocates for expanding the Orange Line Metro services to Centreville, expanding VRE services to include weekends, and resuming construction of the Route 28 Bypass (Godwin Extended) project.
2 / Housing Attainability And Rising Cost Of Living
Housing costs will continue to rise unless we cut the Red Tape on housing construction regulations and diversify the housing stock availability toward 'The Missing Middle' of housing. Let's get Government out of the way of Home and Landowners Rights to maximize the value of their property and supply the market with attainable housing stock.
3 / Conservation of Our Green Spaces
Suburban sprawl will continue to erode away the green spaces that we cherish and love. We must set aside more land for recreation via our State Park system for conservation to preserve what makes Virginia beautiful: Our publicly accessible green spaces.
